No. Customers scan the table QR code and open the menu directly in their mobile browser. This keeps the ordering flow simple for guests and avoids app download friction.

02 Can the restaurant approve orders before sending them to the kitchen?

Yes. Customer orders and staff-added orders can be reviewed first. The owner or counter team can approve, reject, or control items before they move into the kitchen workflow.

03 Does TableNumber support a separate kitchen display?

Yes. Kitchen staff can use a dedicated kitchen screen to view orders, track preparation, and move items through stages like pending, cooking, and ready. This helps reduce shouting, missed items, and handwritten confusion.

04 Can waiters use their own screen?

Yes. Waiters can use a separate waiter screen to manage assigned tables, see service requests, handle ready items, and assist with bill or table-related actions depending on restaurant workflow.

05 Can staff add orders for dine-in, counter, or takeaway?

Yes. TableNumber includes a staff order flow where the restaurant team can place dine-in, counter, and takeaway orders. This means the system is not limited to QR customers only.

06 Does it manage live table status?

Yes. Restaurants can track table status such as available, occupied, reserved, and cleaning. This helps the owner or floor team understand what is happening on the floor without manually checking every table.

07 What happens when a customer requests the bill?

When a bill is requested, the restaurant can prepare the bill from the system. The ordering flow can be controlled so new items do not create confusion while billing is in progress. After payment, the table can move toward cleaning before becoming available again.

08 Can the restaurant manage its menu?

Yes. The restaurant can manage menu items, categories, prices, item details, availability, and food type indicators. This helps keep the QR menu updated without printing a new physical menu every time.

09 Is TableNumber useful only for large restaurants?

No. It can be useful for small cafes, fast-service restaurants, family restaurants, cloud-style counters, and growing dine-in businesses that want cleaner order control without building a custom system from zero.

10 Does TableNumber replace waiters?

No. It supports waiters. The goal is to reduce repeated manual work, order confusion, kitchen follow-ups, and billing delays. Staff still control service, hospitality, and restaurant experience.

11When does inventory reduce?

On Pro and Enterprise, connected inventory is deducted when an order item is accepted—not when it is merely placed. Refreshing, cooking, serving or billing does not deduct the same item again.

12Is Profit Insights final accounting profit?

No. It is an operating estimate based on saved sales, recorded stock usage and real waste. Rent, salaries, utilities, commissions and other expenses are not included, so it should not be treated as audited accounting profit.
